Topside control panel

The topside control panel is the keypad or touchscreen you use to operate a hot tub from its upper edge. Depending on the equipment, it can display water temperature and messages, switch jets or lights, and provide access to heating and filtration settings. It communicates with the spa’s control system, which carries out those commands.

Similar-looking keypads can have different functions or require different instructions. Identify the panel model and the spa model before following a button sequence or interpreting a message. Legacy Spas’ control-panel references include guides for several Gecko keypads. Choose the matching guide and record the complete message when asking for help; a photo of the display is more useful than a description such as “the light is flashing”.
