Air control

An air control adjusts the amount of air mixed into the water flowing through a group of hot tub jets. Opening it usually makes the stream more aerated and changes how the jets feel. These controls are often positioned around the rim, although their appearance and layout vary. They control air mixing rather than redirecting water between seats.

Check the owner’s guide to identify which jets each control serves and how it should be left when the spa is idle. Follow the recommended settings instead of assuming every knob has the same purpose. When trying a seating layout, compare the feel with the air adjusted as instructed. Use the Legacy Spas hot tub collection to shortlist models, then ask how the controls work on the exact spa you are considering.
