Why are my hot tub jets weak or not working after a refill?

An airlock is one possible reason jets stop working after a refill. Air trapped in the pump or plumbing can prevent normal water flow even when you hear the pump running. First check that the water has reached the level specified in your manual and that the user-adjustable jets are open. Note any control-panel message and whether the problem began immediately after filling.

Follow the filling and pump-priming procedure for your exact spa; instructions for another brand may not apply. Do not leave a pump running without water flow or loosen plumbing fittings unless you are qualified to do the work. If the approved start-up procedure does not restore circulation, stop and contact a qualified technician. Legacy Spas' resources page links control-panel references that can help you identify the message before asking for model-specific advice.
